Fleurieu NRM Group

The Fleurieu NRM Group takes in the southern Fleurieu Peninsula, including Cape Jervis,Yankalilla and Victor Harbor, and extends north covering Onkaparinga and the Willunga Basin. The area encompasses the Onkaparinga, Inman and Hindmarsh River catchments.

The Fleurieu has highly productive agricultural lands, primarily devoted to dairy and beef cattle, nestled amongst a growing number of lifestyle properties, and rapidly growing towns on the coastal flats. Areas of high natural biodiversity are a feature on the Fleurieu, some of which have state-wide or national significance, including the critically endangered Fleurieu Swamps.
