Roadsides contain many of our most significant remnant vegetation and plant associations, and provide important habitat for native fauna species.
However, they are also threatened by invasive weed species, both declared pest plants and other environmental weeds. In addition, weeds on roadsides can pose a threat to agricultural and horticultural enterprises. It is therefore critical that they are effectively controlled.
